About Williams, DDS Doctors & Staff
Dr. M. Craig Williams, DDS
Dr. M. Craig Williams was born in Raleigh, NC, and lived there until he graduated from Ravenscroft High School. In high school, he played varsity football, basketball and baseball. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned his bachelor of science in business administration. During his four years in Chapel Hill, he enjoyed attending Carolina basketball games at the Smith Center and was lucky enough to travel to Indianapolis for the 1997 Final Four. After his undergraduate studies, Dr. Williams attended the West Virginia University School of Dentistry, where he learned about sound clinical dentistry and patient care.
While in Morgantown, Dr. Craig Williams learned the meaning of being a mountaineer football fan as he lived a stone’s throw from the stadium. He even managed to pick up some lunch money by parking cars in his front yard. If you think UNC fans are crazy about basketball, then you ought to see hundreds of RV’s heading to town the night before a home football game in Morgantown. It is quite exciting.
Although he enjoyed his time in the beautiful state of West Virginia, Dr. Craig Williams never forgot the sunny weather and warm southern hospitality of North Carolina. Upon Graduation from WVU, he moved back to Raleigh and began practicing with his father. Dr. Craig Williams’ wife, Melissa, teaches art lessons from home and produces whimsical art in many forms. They have two sons, Brock and Lawson, and twin girls, Emmaline and Adelaide.
Dr. Craig Williams enjoys playing golf and basketball. He also enjoys using computers and modern dental technologies, like digital X-rays, tooth-colored fillings, Cerec one-visit crowns and using intra-oral cameras.
Dr. William Daily, DDS
Talented Doctor joins the Williams Staff as a full time Associate
Williams DDS has officially welcomed Dr. William Daily to the practice as of July 2011. Following the retirement announcement of practice founder Dr. Michael Williams, our office staff
knew it would be tough to find another individual with the type of caring approach to dental care that would be a great fit for both patients and staff. Thankfully, Dr. Daily is a hit with our existing patients, new arrivals and the entire office staff. The overwhelmingly positive feedback has been exciting. Dr. Daily comes from the prestigious University of Florida’s General Dentistry Residency where he focused on patient care and learning advanced complex procedures including implants, bone grafting, periodontal surgery, root canals, oral and IV sedation, laser dentistry, complex extractions and full mouth reconstruction.
No stranger to treating patients, Dr. Daily pursued his passion for the surgical and clinical aspects of dentistry, often logging 60-70 hour work weeks. Through his treatment and care of walk-in patients, Dr. Daily transfers years of practical dental experience to the Williams DDS patient base. Dr. Daily graduated with honors in May 2010 from the University of Maryland, the world’s first dental university. Dr. Daily has also made continuing education a priority, with experience in many of the leading institutions in the country including:
- The Dawson Academy
- The Pankey Institute
- A 7-month implant continuum
He has earned a fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantology which he received in Chicago in August 2011.
Dr. Daily was inspired by the attention to patient relationships and exacting standards of treatment provided everyday by Dr. Mike and Dr. Craig. He is eager to serve both existing and new patients and contribute to the energy the whole team at Williams DDS delivers every day! Dr. Daily’s family are thrilled to have made Raleigh, NC their final hometown. After having lived in six states on the east coast, Dr. Daily and his wife, Jessica, believe that North Carolina is a great place to raise their two boys, Connor and Liam. They love North Carolina’s mountains, beaches, Universities and friendly people.
Outside of the office Dr. Daily enjoys golf, tennis, drums, kayaking, travel and date nights with his wife.
